On Tuesday December 20, 2011, at the meeting of the full board of Community Board 3, the use of lights for night time games by Mofo Hockey was approved with no dissent.
Our thanks go out to Mofo members Annika, Dana, Kami, John, Adriano, Amy and Chuck who attended Community Board meetings to support our request. Thanks also to the tenants of Knickerbocker Village who demonstrated overwhelming support for our presence in the rink and neighborhood, the Knickerbocker Village tenants association, the Knickerbocker Village general manager, and others who stood in support for our league’s continued and expanded hockey activity in the Two Bridges neighborhood.
